Apollo does have a spiffy 6 - 0 record though.

Even as a Johnson Central fan I have to question them being above Covington Catholic. Does Covington Catholic's loss to Bishop Watterson justify them droping to #5 in the AP Poll.

Good question. It was self-destruction last week at its finest for CCH. The week prior to that they were trailing the #9 in the country by only one 1 TD entering the 4th Q on the road. I guess we'll all find out here in a few weeks were they should be positioned.

CCH's inability to score points against good opponents will be their Waterloo. (v. Elder, 3 points; v. St. Xavier, 3 points; v. Watterson, 13 points). Therefore, rank them whevever you like, but they have to find a way to beat the team at #2, and if not, where they rank against the rest of the state is simply chat-room fodder.

I know Corbins record is not great but I know they could beat a couple of teams in the top 10 in 2A. They went toe to toe with Middlesboro. They also went toe to toe with two top 10 3A teams.

Lex Christian is ranked 11 in 1A yet soundly beat #8 Raceland at Raceland....humm:confused:

In 3A, Lex. Cath. is too high, Cov. Cath. is too low, and Franklin Co. seems pretty low too.
