16thBBall Fan
Final. A total beat down of the Cardinals by the Tigers.
Run To State
Dominated. I'm a fan of any team that beats down Louisville.
John Anthony
Anyone want to question me and the 1-2 others who've been saying "Lamar and a bunch of dudes" now?
ThrillVille Cardinal51
Welp the recruiting trail catches up. Have to raise the bar moving forward.
TheDeuce
About what I expected, but Louisville's defense was worse than anticipated. Playing for third place, as usual. "Lamar and some dudes." If I've snapped at you for saying that, I apologize. You were right. He has little to no help, and when he gets help it's inconsistent. Giving up 600 yards is unacceptable, I don't care who you're playing.

hrcarrier
Very impressive win by Clemson on the road. Things are looking very possible for a repeat for them.

Fortunatey that's good enough to beat most of the teams on the schedule, but not the ones that really matter.
TheDeuce
I don't get too upset when Louisville loses to better teams, and it's very clear that Louisville does not have the horses to compete with Clemson.

Agree - this game was so boring. Cards were overmatched and played crummy on top of it. Excited that there's still lots of season left to watch Lamar be awesome though. Go Cards! Getslow
When Jackson is off, the offense is very poor. With Alexander out, the secondary is very poor. I was prepared for both of those. I was less prepared for Clemson's offensive line to open up holes big enough to drive a truck through and allow their running game to just eat yards all night long. Ugh. oldrambler
Complete domination by Clemson ....both "O" and "D" lines, special teams, defense and offensively. Clemson was better prepared and it showed, at times it seemed the Tigers knew what Petrino was going to call before the Cards did. L. Jackson is a great athlete, football player and QB but tonight at times it seemed that all he had was himself. Clemson just dominated all phases. L'eVille did move the ball late / 4th qtr and two scores against the Clemson reserves.

Giving up 600 yards is unacceptable, I don't care who you're playing. I really wasn't trying to fire you up with the bunch of dudes comment last week. I actually picked Louisville to win tonight simply because Lamar is so good and I wasn't sure about Bryant. But either way if we are speaking on a national level as far as being able to compete physically with Clemson, Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio State, USC, etc. it really is just Lamar, Jaire, and a bunch of dudes. Last year against FSU Lamar showed everyone that if those dudes can give him even a little bit of help he will march through a defense like Sherman marched through Atlanta. But on nights like tonight where he is all alone and he doesn't play completely flawless, it can get ugly. On the bright side I think these past 2 years will help UL a lot in recruiting to help get some dudes in there.
