To the first point, it's still one more than anyone at Clemson has.

 

And to the second, most of you internet Clemson fans sure don't act like it. You'd think the second you won the title you'd forget about the Heisman. That clearly isn't the case.

 

I don't know man. I would much rather have a National Title than a player get the Heisman, both or cool though. It might seem that way when you encounter Clemson fans because some think Watson deserved it more. Don't get me wrong Jackson is a freak, he deserved it. But on a non-Louisville week no Clemson fan thinks about him getting the Heisman, we're not obsessed about it. And when you role in to play a team with a Heisman that gets some talk. Louisville's O-Line just didn't match up and he couldn't break those runs as much. Still had a good game, he could actually still get another Heisman.

There is no debate, Clemson dominated Louisville last night. There's no one here questioning that.

 

Saying "no Clemson fan thinks about him winning the Heisman" is simply incorrect. Spend five minutes on Twitter when LJ is mentioned and watch the Clemson fans come out of the wood work. It's the wildest thing to me. I just don't understand why they care. I'm not saying they care more about that than the title, but the ones I'm talking about absolutely care that LJ won. It burns them up, for whatever reason.

Clemson dominated UofL. Jackson was not as good as he usually is (execution of called play OR creativity) and that was because of Clemson D. Not sure if any more called runs would have helped take some pressure off Jackson, but would have liked to have seen them try. Williams is gonna be a good RB if he stays healthy.

 

UofL D was not good, but Clemson QB performed better than could have been expected given the situations, Alexander loss is huge from a ripple effect standpoint AND offense didn't give the D any help. Bigger, better Clemson OL came out, dominated the 1st drive of the 2nd half and continued to do so until they called the dogs off.

 

Cards will be a heavy underdog @fsu. THU night game at NC St. could be tricky. Finale @uk is always hard to predict and lots of time between now and then for both teams. Otherwise, Cards should be favored in the other games and need to take care of their business to shoot for 10-2 or 9-3 and a very solid bowl game to keep the program moving forward before trying to replace Jackson next year.
