Pulaski County fell to 1-2 losing to 3A # 1 Corbin 7-36. The schedule does the Maroons no favors hosting 2A # 2 Danville. Danville is undefeated and coming off a big win over rival Boyle County 10-7. Can the Maroons compete or will the Admirals sink them?

If Danville is as good as I think they are it could be a long night for Pulaski.

I think Danville will win but it will be close , that Corbin team that the maroons loss too is really good

I would say that but outside of defense Danville did not play but average on offense against Boyle unlike last year where they just throttled Boyle.

This is kind of what I based my response on, too. That being said, Pulaski and Corbin are two different animals. I think Danville gets it done, even with a letdown.

This years Maroons definitely aren't the same level that has made 4 straight 5A finals...but at some point they are going to put it together and be a hard team to beat. Will it be this week, I doubt it...but I wouldn't be surprised to see Pulaski make this a much better game than most are expecting.

If Danville doesn't come out with a post Boyle hangover, they should take care of Pulaski County fairly easily.

I think this is a valid concern. I'm also of the notion that Pulaski is probably a little better than that result showed against Corbin. However, I have to think Danville is too good on the line and has too many athletes for Pulaski here. I will say this - the Ads don't need to turn it over like they did against Boyle. That's playing with fire.
