Johnson threw the ball pretty well, sometimes your receivers need to make plays, kind of like the Southern Miss. receivers did today. The Wildcat was overused today in my opinion.

The Wildcat was overused today in my opinion. I agree the Wildcat was overused. I disagree that Johnson threw the ball pretty well. He just isn't that good from 20 yards in.
September 3, 20179 yr Barker is the better QB. The wildcat stuff isn't going to work this year. I like to think Barker would be better. However we only seen 2 games of him really. One he played very good and one horrible. So no guarntee he would do better. However I know I sure would like to see how he would do with this type of offense. When he played they tried to be more of a passing team. I believe they won games with Johnson not because of Johnson but because they made running the ball their main focus. I would like to see Barker play while their philosophy is still run first. I think he would be more successful and also open up more passing wise when they do have to pass.
