I like Shearer a lot and think he brings another dimension to SK's offense.

 

That said - I think CCH is the class of NKY this year. Too many ways to score and more than enough D to create separation.

Cov Cath is miles apart from every team in NKY, not close at this point and it's likely going to expand more.

I'm a CCH guy though and through. I watched some of the BG bs St. X game today. BG has some major speed. That could be a factor if these two face each other. How does the divisions line up this year? Would CCH and BG play in State or Playoffs? The alignment confuses me.

Since Scott Co only beat Covcath by a blocked punt for a TD last year, any thoughts on how that game would go this year?

Like most teams, CCH will face teams who have 4-5 guys who if they are even they are gone. (Like every college and pro team). Like those teams CCH has to by design scheme angle cushion and athleticism keep it in front and keep an angle. So far so good except one play by Chisholm

CCH is more "athletic" than they have been in awhile and one part of that is speeed. But yes, many teams fastest 10 will post a better average time than CCH's top 10. We will see over the next few game if that is enough to make a serious run against a little better team speed.

Considering Scott County struggled with Lafayette and a team Cov Cath beat 49-2 beat Lafayette 25-0, I would say Cov Cath is better. Now scores don't predict other results, but that is all we have to go on.
