Saw a lot of comments in the game thread about poor officiating. Were the calls one sided or equally poor for both teams?

 

One flag with less than 2 min left. SC isn't the cleanest team, and they got away with two PI calls, and at minimum 10-12 holding calls on their receivers...likely one or two PF penalties as well.

Wow. Well, that side of the 6A bracket will certainly be interesting - Scott Co, Male and St X. I feel sorry for the Ryle district.

Eh, Scott Co seems like state championship level 6A team, they beat Lafayette pretty good. The score is aweful but it sounds like Highlands offense moved the ball and just didn't finish the drives, that's not the end of the world against that team. Sounds like Venneman got it going as well, that's a good sign. Hope Schwalbach is good to go for next week. They get an extra day to prepare for Ryle, I don't think Ryle is Scott Co. Think that could be a good game.

So just Scott County held an Pass Interfered? That's sounds wrong. There was one flag thrown. I bet Highlands had there fair share of holdings an other penalties that wasn't called. Sounds to me the refs let them play.
