Not counting him, I'd say 4 hours when the Reds are out of town. Actually in the same rooms, maybe 1.5 hours a day.

With the little guy around it's pretty minimal. I'd venture an hour a day maybe. When he sleeps, we sleep and since sleeping doesn't count...:idunno:

On weekdays, I'd say 4 hours a day on average. We are pretty much inseparable on the weekends and during off season of basketball and softball. During the season, I have to go to games if I want to see him.

Varies due to my work travel schedule. We stay up late, so normal nights we get in about 5 hours. Weekends we are together pretty much all of the waking hours. Summer time we do have guests with us so not truly alone time.

Empty nesting is good!

 

FYI, we starting having date days when one was away and the other worked. Helped prepare ourselves for being just the 2 of us.

So you get roughly 45 to 90 seconds per day. Better than Pitino...

When she is home 4-5 hours. She is retiring on August 4th again from her present job where she travels 75-80% of the time. On the other end, this comng weekend is the first weekend since April we have no grandkids staying with us and they are all out of town, so there won't be last minutes, I think. But the lovely lady leaves on her last job related trip at noon on Monday.

From 3-5 hours. The morning time "together" is normally spent getting ready.

Empty nesters now, so probably average 4 hours a day.

Btw, the average amount of time marriage couples spend alone is 4 and one-half MINUTES per day !!!!

Wow! I would be interested to know the demographics they studied. If you have kids, certainly you are not alone much. I would still think it would be more than 4 1/2 minutes!

 

I am loving the empty nest time! When the kids started taking off, I was devastated. Now, my house is clean, I can watch my own TV, go anywhere, anytime I want with the spouse. It is a gift!

........and instead of two or three loads of laundry a day it probably drops to one or two a WEEK! :lol2:

Makes me feel better then. I'm similar to Lawnboy...probably 15-20 minutes per day. And 5-10 of that is dependent on how long it takes us to fall asleep. It will be a little bit more once the boy starts back to school, but still probably under that 30 minute mark.

I work with my wife and I still don't see her as much as I wish I could.
