We have no idea how many pills he took.

He said he was attempting to harm himself.

Now it is an allergic reaction to taking up to 35 pills.

He calls a press conference to discuss.

 

This is classic. If this were Keenen McCardell there would be very little made of it.

I agree not everybody lives in glass house. We all have problems. Would you want people to make fun of one of your shortcomings.

From all the commentary on espn lately they seem to think that it is pretty sure that he is going to deny the attempted suicide. We may never know, by the time that his people and the Cowboys people get to him and advise on what he is to say and all it is hard to tell what he will say. All the so called experts are now leaning towards a combo of the pain medication and the "so called supplements" caused this reaction. There is one thing that I don't think that anyone can deny, the man is a very disturbed human being and probably is suffering from depression. So RickyP, If it wasn't attempted suicide, I aologize although we may never know (I don't think that he would admit it if it was). So there is my apology if it is not. :thumb: . Whatever it is there is a problem with him somewhere and I hope that the Cowboys would not play him untill all is found out and worked out. I personally would advise T.O. to step down and out of football and the limelight for now and very possibly for good. He obviously can't handle it anymore, JMO. This hasn't even got to the press conference yet and I don't know if I will watch it now. I might but I don't think we will really know anymore of what went on after the pc than we do now.

Ok even if he did try to commit suicide or not, there would have to be some kind of press conference to explain things. TO has been a guy in the past who would do anything to be in the spotlight, but I dont think a guy would do this just to get attention. Do you ever think that maybe he might be getting tired of all this attention. Every little thing he does, people are talking about it now. This has been going on now for the past couple of years. Yeah at first he had alot to do with getting the attention to him self, but now it doesn't matter what he does there are always people questioning it. They have said on ESPN that some of his friends have said that he goes through mood swings really quick. They also talked about how in Philly and San Fran the teams thought that he could maybe have something that is wrong with him physically and wanted to have him do some test which he refused to take.

 

So this suicide attempt could have been actually real because he does have problems that people have talked about. So you getting on here and saying stuff like this is completely wrong. Even if it ends up being some sort of a thing just to get attention, even though I dont think it is. But if its still you shouldn't be saying stuff like this when it comes to something as serious as a persons life until you know for sure....

:thumb: Like I said earlier, I have dealt with depression and still do to some extent. Thankfully not to this point but I can say that it is real and no one can really understand it unless they are like you said, experienced themselves or had somene close to them experience it.

I spoke to my medical advisor and he said that if this were an attempted suicide that there is no way that Owens would have been released due to liability. Only a judge could have gotten him released.
