I'm addressing only the current administration. I belive it's well established that the other party has done the same. I am focused only on what is occurring.by the current administration.

Bush 2 was bashed for his grammatical errors and "word creation."

 

Everyone in the office has been painted by "the other side" fiercely.

I have to disagree, The Republicans wanted to bury Clinton back then. He actually was impeached after all, for perjury I believe...and he was guilty. There just wasn't anyone on the left that would go along and vote to impeach him and he remained in office.

 

The rhetoric from both sides has really ratcheted up since that time and the Clinton Investigation and Impeachment get us to where we are today...neither side willing to give an inch and compromise. We saw it during the Obama administration, the Bush Administration and we are seeing it now.

Would there need to be a quid pro quo for there to be a conspiracy?

Would it be possible that a foreign country simply didn't like one of the candidates and chose to help their opponent without there being a conspiracy?

 

It was widely thought that the magnanimous decision to turn over the debate prep video was made only after the video was viewed several times by those around the Gore campaign.

 

I can agree that the ends don't always justify the means.

The US has meddled in other countries elections to the point of sending money and operatives to disrupt their free elections.. So,evidently, its not against the law...

What is convenient is the about face of some of our posters who held former administrations to a standard they don't expect from our current administration. Some of our posters have made some significant statements with regard to their perception of the ethics of former adminitiations, and with no more evidence than any tying the current administration to alleged Russian relationships.

 

Getting dirt on your opponent is one thing. But Russia is our collective adversary, and has a long history of subterfuge on the US. There's just a lot wrong with that scenario. It's definitely not run of the mill.

 

Additionally, the more the administration changes their stories, the more I distrust them. They'd be better off picking one, and sticking with it, or just saying nothing. Then the onus is on the rest of the world to prove them wrong without a shadow of a doubt. As it is, they are casting long shadows on themselves.

The funny thing is ... for the first time in my life that I can remember ... there are republican politicians who agree.

 

Obama is still bashed to high heaven ... and why? Because he represented something that wasn't seen before in the White House (just like Trump... but from different angles).

 

Pretty funny ... but doesn't the email chain from Donald Trump Jr. talk about coming from the Russian government? How freaking arrogant can you be (because any moron could read that and at least entertain the thought that maybe, just maybe this administration is a sham).
