Have one fairly close to my house. Have not visited. Probably need to give them another chance especially since it is a new location.

It is not on the list but I prefer Dewey's over any place that has been mentioned. I live close to several of the chains ,but will drive 10 + miles to have Dewey's.

Not much. And Little Caesar's easily meets the low expectations. It's awful. I'll pay the extra $2 or $3 and get a really good pizza from Marco's. Or if I only had $5 to spend on pizza, I'd get a frozen one from Kroger.

If you think Wendy's fries are better than McD's, we need not bother any more with this convo. I don't even order fries at Wendy's anymore. They're not even in the same ball park.

Wendy's fries used to be a lot better, but several years ago they changed them and they have never been the same since. Good thing the let you sub them for chili with a combo meal.

I had Dewey's once in St. Louis. Don't remember exactly what I had, but it was solid.

Often the route we take, but not the frozen, the pre-made ones by the deli.

Of those listed I prefer Papa John's, but their sauce give me the worst heartburn. Their breadsticks are pretty good too.

 

I'm not a fan of Dominos with the exception of their thin crust. I prefer to get it with barbecue sauce. The breadsticks are horrible however.

 

I've got no issue with Little Caesar's it taste fine, and i don't get it expecting the best. Plus I like that I can just drop in without calling ahead and get pizza, wings, and bread.

 

I almost never get Papa Murphy's. The pizza is ok, but I'm lazy. I'm not going to get it and have to cook it when I get home as well.

 

In the past Pizza Hut would have got my vote. Their pan pizza used to be amazing. Now it frozen, and they don't even really hide it. Tried to order a medium pan pizza one night and they were out. You don't run out of pizza dough if your making it in the store. The breadsticks are still alright.

 

Donatos is realtively new to the Owensboro area, and I've had them a handful of times. So far really like the pizza and the salads, the breadsticks are just ok. They are a little pricier than the others and I live outside the delivery area, so I don't order from them often.

I do like Toppers. Especially since it seems to be the only one open past 11pm on weekends.

There's one in Highland Heights I get regularly. One in Clifton as well.

As a kid pizza hut was my favorite. In college dominos became my favorite. After college papa John's became my favorite. Now in my 30s, Larosass has become my favorite.

 

Goodfellas is also really good!
