Like a lot of these pizza places, if it has a sit-down restaurant the pie is always better than what gets delivered in my opinion. Maybe a new thread could be Best Sit In Pizza Restaurant and Best Delivered Pie. I honestly believe there is a difference, even at the same chain.

 

 

(Of course, there isn't a slice that I will walk away from. It's an addiction that I'm dealing with.)

La Rosa's is way better than anything on the list IMO.

I'll preface this by saying bad pizza is better than no pizza.

 

1. Domino's

2. Papa Murphy - I can't make them #1 because I have to cook the damn thing.

3. Pizza Hut.

4. Papa John's

5. Little Caesar's. - If I had their BBQ pizza a couple more times I might move them up. Had it once and it was solid.

Funny thing is. When I lived in Louisville I ate none of those places. I can't be more excited over Impellezzeri's coming.

For those hating on Little Caesar's. It's $5 what do you expect. :lol2:

My man...

LaRosas is the best pizza chain in NKY bar none. Nothing on this list really gets me going though. I'd probably lean Papa Johns because they put the garlic butter in the box. My favorite pizza is probably from Edwardos in Williamstown though. Can't beat the lunch buffet during the week or after church.

Of that list, Pizza Hut. Thin-n-crispy.

 

Thin crust also. If I wan't pizza bread, that's what I'll order.

 

Devoted Maysville Pasquale's guy here. Of the chains mentioned, I'll take Domino' by a whisker.

Domino's for years was my favorite, then they got to messing with it and we went years without ever eating it. It's some better now, we eat it occasionally.

 

Papa John's IMO has less flavor than any other pizza, just seems like it was stamped out of a factory...I hate thier sauce.

 

Pizza Hut, as mentioned earlier thier cheese bread sticks are awesome. Thier pizza is ok, but it is great cold a day later. Probably better than when it's fresh.

 

Little Ceasars was better back in the old "Pizza Pizza" days, but current pizza is really pretty good...especially considering the price.

 

Not on the list

 

Mellow Mushroom, worst crust IMO taste like cardboard. We have one here and each time we've left less and less impressed.

 

Larosa's I love thier just simple pepperoni pizza...crust, sauce and cheese are all really good IMO.

 

Donato's we use this to mix it up or as a compromise when we can't agree on where to get pizza from. We all like it, but no one loves it. :lol2:
