September 26, 200620 yr Okay, enough about Odell and his colossal mistake (again). Enough about Chris Henry vomiting out a window. Enough about if McNeal is or isn't a bad guy. Enough. Let's talk about one of the biggest games in the NFL this weekend. A 4:15 National Audience, Tom Brady and the Pats roll into the Jungle. Can the Bengals avoid the off-field distractions and focus on getting the job done on the field? Will the Pats rebound from a poor performance on Football Night in America and pick up a much needed road win? What say you?
September 26, 200620 yr Even thought the Patriots haven't looked overly impressive so far this season, they are still at team that really scares me. I remember them going into Pittsburgh early last season, and coming away with a big win. I'm afraid the Bengals may come out a little flat coming off a big road win at Pittsburgh, add in Monday mornings distractons, and I'm afraid the Bengals may be ripe for a loss. Patriots 31 Bengals 28
September 26, 200620 yr Author LRCW, that is certainly a logical expectation, and one that I'm sure most Bengals' fans fear.
September 26, 200620 yr Jim Nantz and Phil Simms two weeks in a row? What has this world become? :sssh:
September 26, 200620 yr Author Jim Nantz and Phil Simms two weeks in a row? What has this world become? :sssh: Will Simms be there? With Chris in the state that he is? I don't know why, but I had sort of figured he'd beg off for a week.
September 26, 200620 yr Will Simms be there? With Chris in the state that he is? I don't know why, but I had sort of figured he'd beg off for a week. That would surprise me. My guess is he spends the next couple days with him and heads to Cincy probably on Friday.
September 26, 200620 yr I think the Bengals will man handle the pats. They didn't look very good at all last week.
September 26, 200620 yr The Patriots will rebound, sort of. I don't see NE playing bad two weeks in a row. Cincy is a better team and should win this game. Bengals 24 Patriots 17
September 26, 200620 yr My two favorite teams.....guess I'll be sporting my Tom Brady jersey and my Bengals hat. Bengals 21 Pats 17
September 26, 200620 yr Cin 27 New England 12 Corey Dillion back in Cincy, he had many good games when he played here, my question is his best days behind him?
September 26, 200620 yr If the Bengals can stay focused and not letdown after last weeks big win, they should win going away. However Tom Brady is a winner and Maroney may suprise the Bengals on the ground. Bengals 24-17.
September 26, 200620 yr The way the Steelers moved the ball on the ground, I fear the Pats will do likewise, and I'd bet Brady won't pull a Ben. He won't turn it over like that. Pats need a win and Bengals are not protecting Carson well enough to suit me, but since it is at home, I'll say Bengals by a FG.
