$50-$200 is a guess. I would bet that I buy, on average, two new pairs every year.

Sneakers are usually $60-$80 and good dress shoes $100-$150.

I would bet I don't quite pay out all that over a year but it seems a good average.

I usually buy one new pair of gym shoes every 8 or 10 months and a new pair of dress shoes every 2 or 3 years. Not including the once every 5 or 6 years that I have to replace my work boots (a new pair of Redwings runs me almost $300), my show budget probably averages out to about $130 or $140 a year if I had to guess.

For me after about three months of heavy use a pair of running shoes is shot and needs to be replaced.

I walk/run (mostly walk though) about 15 miles or so a week. I've got two pair of shoes that I rotate and only wear for that purpose, and I replace one of those about every 6-8 months. I rarely wear gym shoes outside of that purpose. In the summer it's sandals (I have a pair of Birkenstocks that are over 10 years old), flip flops, or casual canvas shoes. In the winter it's usually some sort of casual dress boot or chukka style shoe.

I buy a pair of gym shoes annually, typically whoever is Nike's latest signature line debut. This year I got Paul George's first shoe, because we share initials and that's the closest I'll ever come to having my own shoe. Not to mention they come at that introductory $110 price point which is nice.

This is also my year for buying brown dress shoes as I bought new black ones last year.

I probably double that on mileage per week and I almost exclusively wear various types of casual gym shoes with the exception of my tactical boots when it cold or harsh out and I have to spend any meaningful time outside.

What kind of tennis shoes are you buying that are $60-80? Tennis shoes are expensive.

I bought the PG's too. I don't share the initials, but they are pretty sweet.

Good exercise tennis shoes are. But casual sneakers? I can get a great pair for that price. I'm not too hard on a pair of tennis shoes or running shoes, if you follow me.

Yeezy's will put you in the top bracket quick. But no not a fan.

I wear dress shoes for 90% of my day, come home put some gym shoes for the gym then I am usually barefoot for the rest of the night. I buy around 1 or 2 new pairs of dress shoes a year typically from 100-150 a piece, new gym shoes about once a year and new loafers/boat shoes once a year.

I'm with you. Unless I have something specific planned that requires I wear shoes, I'm wearing a pair of these babies from the minute I change out of my work clothes.

He @LRCW...what's your annual Crocs budget?

$300

Don't spend any on myself, but my wife & daughter are shoe-a-holics. My wife asks only for shoes and I get them for her for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Anniversary, Birthday, & usually two pairs for Christmas. Daughter doesn't get that much, but she gets enough.

I'm guessing between the two of them it's around $700.
