Who has the horses in the backfield?

Featured Replies

Johnson Central. Blake Johnson, Shawn Grimm, Dennis Dillion, Ian Welch, Chase Richardson, Nathan Dillion, Brady Hamilton... these guys can all run the ball, and know how to find the end-zone.

Highlands has Jordan Kramer and Josh Conner..They're not to shabby...

Bell County features T.R. Christopher (2008) and Spencer Greer (2009). Matt Simpson(2009) is a strong young fullback. Add to the mix several carries at FB by Brent Slusher (D-1-Auburn commit at TE and LB). Stronger backfield than their line this year, but young line is getting better.

Simon Kenton has to be up there. Michael Haught and Brent Bishop? Two of the top backs in NKY 4A last year are now in the backfield in Independence. All that matters is if the line holds up and blocks well enough for them and if they start playing like they should they could go deep in the playoffs on the backs of those two guys. :fight:

I totally agree DP.

St. X has Victor Anderson, who many longtime X fans have deemed the best back ever at the school, as well as, Rolandan "Deuce" Finch, maybe the best sophomore in the state.

Ryle Raiders

Gray is a great back, they'll go as he goes.

Who has the horses in the backfield?

North Oldham, Moore, Harrison County and Newport Central Catholic for sure.

You might consider Marion Co, Lexington Catholic, Webster Co, Barren Co, Cawood, Southern and North Hardin too if you are willing to allow a small assumption.

LOL!!! Funniest post I have seen in awhile!!!:jump:

I really like our starting backfield with Casey Earls and Cornelius Ford alone with Shawn Russell, Brennan Bowling and Cody Foister coming off the bench.

What about DeSales Colts and Jeffersontown Chargers?

I agree those 2 are the best 2 in the state

Western Warriors take the cake.

RB Justin Collins.-800+ 14tds

RB Ronnie Darden-800+ 12 tds

QB Brett Norman-350+ 9 td

FB Demonte Adams-6' 245lbs.+ 3 tds.

The fastest Group, overall in the state.

Mercer also obviously have a great backfield, along with Belfry and Saint X

Hard to argue against Scottie Gray & Vince Murray from Ryle.

Antoine Robinson,Jordan Morgan,EJ Fields at Frankfort high.Tough to top,

especially at the 1A level!;)

I saw a few horses out in Casey County.;) NEIGH!
