Looking at this scene it doesn't look right.

 

However I have dealt with more than a few suicides and more than once the individual appeared "all right" with life and that they were "coping." Then move right along with a plan to "end it all." So the notion that he said this things is not necessarily out of character with someone who is contemplating suicide.

 

I knew a lady who was about to be discovered in a huge embezzlement at her long time place of work. She set out dinner to thaw and left the place like she normally would if she had to run to the store or something. She took off all her jewelry in her bedroom, took only her driver's license and then drove to and jumped off a bridge into the Kentucky River.

 

I've known others who said all sorts of things to not make people worry about what was really going on in their minds.

 

It's very unusual and yet not when dealing with suicide.

Just for the sake of argument, what is Hernandez actually was framed for the murder of Odin Lloyd? I don't believe it personally, but since he was going to appeal the case with convincing evidence according to his attorney, lets says he got word that the gang he was involved with would kill someone in his family if he fessed up who the real killer was. I don't actually believe this. I'd be shocked if Odom Llyod was the only person Hernandez killed, but I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility to think the guy may have just been messed up with some really bad people.

"Time behind bars got him to a mental place he could not escape"? Dude was accused of killing how many people? I think he was a little off center to begin with.

 

No argument there. He's obviously off in the head but the timing is off badly. He killed himself now? I'd love to know why.

If what I read that the cell door was wedged from the inside with stuff to jam it closed, seems he acted alone. Maybe that's not true at all. Who knows?

Why wait until now to feel remorse? He just got acquited and his first conviction was about to head to appeals. It's just all very strange timing.

Maybe he felt guilty about beating the rap in the recent case. If nothing else, it has saved the taxpayers a ton in incarceration costs.

I'd say it's far more likely he was murdered than he felt guilty about being found not guilty....

Yet again, another coward who is big & bad enough to commit a heinous crime and then takes the easy way out when he doesn't want to spend the rest of his life in a cage.
