United kicks bride and groom headed to Costa Rica for wedding off flight

United kicks bride and groom heading for their wedding off flight - CBS News

:lol2: They sure are giving American a run for their money!

Nobody kicked off my United flight this morning. Still have to survive my return trip tomorrow.

Why didn't they ask a flight attendant for assistance when they discovered that their seats were occupied and/or whether what they were doing - arbitrarily changing seats - was ok? Seems like there are a few missing pieces to this puzzle.

Pretty conflicting versions of the story here.

Prepare for a ton of these stories popping up and it will always be hard to tell which version is the truth.

And it'll also be funny to watch United struggle with them.

I guess anything is possible, but I have never seen someone stretch out and fall asleep DURING the boarding process. Ever.

Same. It doesn't take that long.

I would bet money there was alcohol involved.

Well said guys.

If I am involved in a situation like this from either side United or the passenger as soon as something starts happening, I pull out the phone and start videoing everything.

Only thing I could figure, short of this dude being full of it, is the person sleeping was already on the plane from a different airport and was continuing on to the next stop.

Please God let this be a United employee :lol2:

I ain't buying this one. First impression is a couple trying to cash in on the ongoing United PR disaster.

I certainly hope that if these two are trying to play the system there is some way to prosecute the for something.
