Harrison is a very poor basketball team and Bracken has Austin Crawford which is why I have the Polar Bears winning.

 

IMO, Harrison County is not a "POOR BASKETBALL TEAM". They are a team with a POOR record.

 

Perhaps they weren't motivated by the regular season. Maybe the chemistry of the team has committed to team success in the post season, but this formerly 4 wins team knocked off the 18 wins Pendleton County Wildcats, and I doubt that Coach Belcher believes that they are all that bad.

 

They are a good group of athletes, who played just well enough to lose most of their games this year. I personally think they are dangerous vs the Polar Bears, because the Bears, like the Wildcats, depend on a bell cow for their success.

 

Therefore, I'm not quite ready to pencil in the Polar Bears in this one.

Bracken beats Harrison by 10-12

 

Paris gets by Roberston by 20 or so

Scott over Mason in a thriller

 

Campbell gets revenge on Bracken, again by 10-12

Paris wins an instant classic over Scott

 

I said it on our preview show on PCRO in November, so i'll stick with it here... The Paris Greyhounds are your 2017 10th Region Champs. My head says Campbell beats them again, but the ego says stay with your pick.

Happened on the girls side I know. 1993 Nicholas pulled off the double as State Champions in both.

I like Harrison in this one...they finally found a rotation and kids have some confidence...Bracken has been overrated all year on this site.

Harrison County is the best 6-25 team I've seen in a while. They have some pieces to be successful in the regional tournament. And those pieces are mostly sophomores and juniors. They only have one senior #10 Keishon Gilkey.

 

I think Bracken vs Harrison will be a very good game on Wednesday night.

It will take a great game for GRC to beat Camel. They are deep and they play so hard. I just can't see an upset in this one.
