Like many others, I'd predict a Camel / Paris Region Finals. My head says the Camels earn the ticket, but since I adopted the Hounds before the season as my 10th Region team, I'll say they get it done.

Perfect draw would have been Scott-Harrison, Paris-Bracken, Campbell-Robertson, GRC-Mason, IMO.

Only reason I had put Harrison above bracken in my rankings is the simple fact they are going into this as champs of the 38th and not as a runner-up, also I'm aware GRC and Scott are in that runner-up place as well but I believe those two teams have clearly separated themselves as part of the top 4 teams in the 10th

Mason could possibly shock the world in make a run like they did last year, or they could be 1st round knock outs. They'll be dealing with an angry Jake Omer as Campbell Co dealt with an angry Pig Williams last year so maybe Scott will be he team that gets hot and makes a run?

 

Unfortunately Campbell gets GRC first round, I really like this GRC but I think it's just a year too early for them.

 

Harrison is a very poor basketball team and Bracken has Austin Crawford which is why I have the Polar Bears winning.

 

Paris and Robertson will be very ugly as the Black Devils have very few players who can legitimately dribble the ball.

Right now the Paris/Robertson game is the only game where I think we can go ahead and mark the winner in pen. Everything else write in pencil very light!

To beat Paris you have to be on all cylinders...meaning flawless game...W a player no taller than 6'3 they will not be intimidated...they will guard you and make you guard them...that's when you run into problems...Wells is a mismatch...no one on the court can match his athletism...he's been scoring 20+ since All A Classic...along w Eric Johnson my my my...like I stated earlier it will take a perfect game to beat them and sometimes that happens but most of the times it doesn't...no Cinderella can win this tourney...either Paris or Campbell...Campbell monkey thumped us earlier...that was our football legs...we have hoops legs now and the Greyhound bus goes to Rupp. #ridewithusorcollidewithus

This why I love tourney time. Everyone is 0-0. I love my Royals and like to see if they can make a run!! That's why we lace them up and play ball. Too me Harrison County surprised me. Are there going to be anymore upsets..... Stay Tuned.....

I disagree with this, all teams have proven to be susceptible to losing at anytime this year. Campbell and Paris have each lost one in Region game, Scott has lost two (both to Campbell), and GRC has lost 4. We don't exactly know how good Mason is since they're just now playing with everyone healthy.

 

Nobody saw the Mason/Augusta Championship coming last year so personally I think Bracken, Harrison and Robertson are the only teams you can go on and say won't be cutting down the nets in the Fieldhouse.

 

I agree that Campbell and Paris are the two best teams in the Region, but the best team doesn't always win. That's my opinion, take it for what it's worth. (Which isn't much to most people):lol2:

We have never pulled off the "A" Region/10th Region double.

 

We won the 10th Region in 2000 but didn't win the 10th "A" that year.

 

2000 was the only year that we have won a regional title.
