The Camels have two narrow wins over Scott. I would not want to meet them again in the region. Just me, but I think Scott gets them if they play again.

From where I was sitting, I thought number 20 bumped him, number 00 slapped his arm at almost the same time, then number 5 slapped him again. I thought the whistle was very justified.

How many did Ohmer have?

 

Ohmer had 15. Clos did a fantastic job guarding him all night. 6 of those 15 were from the free throw line.

No travel and it looks like there was some contact. Unless side official saw a hack, I can't really see how he saw the hip check or push.

As far as "the play" goes - I wish the refs would swallow their whistle in that situation, but Hegyi cemented my vote for player of the year! I agree there wasn't a walk, but also feel like the contact on the play was initiated by the offensive player

I don't see a foul

 

I watched it 20 times, and although it was not disruptive #20 undoubedly had waist to shoulder contact with Hegyl from the foul lane to ball release. Could have swallowed whistle and ignored or make the correct call. Correct call by the official.

Mean Gene, like most of your posts, but to imply Hegyl initiated contact is way off base. Just a great play that amazes me no one blocked his journey. One player clearly did the "ole'" reach/wave as he went by. I am sure the sideline message was no foul.

Maybe just a bit excited, I guess

The atmosphere was very intense. After the heckling the refs received throughout the game, I could see the ref getting caught up in the excitement. Great game by two solid teams.

For everyone saying the official should swallow the whistle in this instance. Would you argue the call on the first possession of the game? If its a foul then, its a foul on the last possession. I didnt think it a walk nor a foul.

I would call his action..."emphatic and decisive". Clearly left no question in anyone's mind.
