Thank you for allowing me to have my own belief.

 

It's not that I don't understand, I just disagree with you.

I saw several things that I thought were fouls that weren't called. I as well saw things called as fouls I didn't believe should have been called. It happens in most games, and it went for and against both Campbell and Scott during the game.

However, as an official, at any particular point in the game, if you see what you perceive to be a foul and don't make the call. Then you, the official, become a determining factor.

 

Agree that the whistle was swallowed for both teams. That's not my argument. For you though, as an official, let the exact same thing go all game and then call it at that point in the game, you're better off letting it go. I know that is something that you'll agree with.

So you are saying the refs SHOULDN'T call a foul at the end and make the player make the shot even if he is fouled. That's an interesting concept. If that's the case, the refs should leave the floor in the last 8 seconds and what happens, happens. A ridiculous theory. A foul is a foul is a foul, whenever it happens. Too many officials DO swallow their whistles at the end because they don't want people saying they "decided" the game. They decide the game just as much when they don't make the call. The players still decide the game when they foul, not the official.

 

Anyone ever been pulled over for speeding. And you were actually speeding. But, the cop let it slide? Gave you the slow down and be careful talk, then sent you on your way. Without a ticket. Just saying...

Sure have.

But if he caught you speeding 30 minutes later on the same stretch of road, you're getting a ticket.

Ohmer really did a nice job involving his teammates. Thought there were times he could've taken over the game.

Hegyi's last second shot was incredible.

Bertsch was the best player on the court in this game. He did it all, scoring, rebounding, and excellent decision making.

Heygi's shot was amazing. Bertsch stepped up big the second half to help keep the game close. I thought Clos had a really nice offensive first half to get the Camels rolling and did a good job keeping Ohmer in check all night.

Jake did a great job getting people involved. Jolly getting hurt, hurt Scott. I thought Jake could have been more shellfish to get himself going. But in the long run he had his team in a position to win.

 

Cole is a winner and it showed in the 4th. Struggled getting shots to go down in the third 0-5 I believe. But kept pushing and hit the game winner.

 

Guess Fro didn't see the 92 UK Duke game. You can't let the inbounder see that much floor to get a good pass off.
