Abortions, just an example is fought against by the right, that's the ultimate right, the right to life. You need to go read some history of these words and movements. If you want individuals try George Wallace, Strom Thurmond, Jefferson Davis on Civik Rights. For workers eye Taft-Hartley Act, Lever Act invoked by AG Miller in 1919 and a plethora of others.
