I have quite often referred to Presidents by last name, not always attaching the President title to the name- Bush , Clinton, Obama, Trump is enough respect as far as I'm concerned. As I indicated in another thread, I think a President has to earn respect and I don't automatically grant it just because of the office. Some of our Presidents throughout history have been real scoundrels and done some pretty bad things. When a President shows him/her self to be worthy of respect and shows that he/she respects the job of President, I'll give respect, in kind. I've not yet seen that from Mr. Trump.
