LOST. Greatest TV Series Of All Time?

Featured Replies

I have never seen Lost. My dad loved it, so we may need to give it a shot. Is it on Netflix?

I'm waiting for The Walking Dead fans to chime in??

Can't. They're all out cold. Watched too many episodes of that boring show and they're still in a coma.

Ha, WD is a great show, so was Lost.

I'm shocked we haven't seen Breaking Bad mentioned yet. It's ahead of Lost for me. I didn't make far with Lost to be fair.

Actually Knotts Landing was better.

It took me about 3-4 episodes into the second season to realize it wasn't any good. JMO, of course.

I wouldn't put it in the running for an entire series, but I thought the very first season of 24 was superb. Lots of twists, turns and edge of you seat suspense seemingly every episode. It was like a finale every week.

Sadly, I think they set the bar so high that first year, that pretty much everything after that fell somewhere in the good to so-so range.

Never got into Lost.

Always wanted to try Breaking bad but felt it was too much to catch up on.

Yes. I watched the first episode last night.

Lost suffers, like so many shows of that time, from being on during the writers' strike. Season three of Lost is just this side of terrible.

But like I said earlier, season one of Lost is about the most riveted I've ever been by a TV show.

For me, there has never been a TV show that had me hooked and emotionally attached to like lost did. Everything about the show (except maybe the ending) was absolutely perfect in my eyes. It's not only the only show that I've watched the whole series twice, I've watched all 6 seasons 4 times. It's been off for a while now, but just wondering what the opinions of LOST were on here and maybe bring back up some fond (or not so fond) memories of what I consider the greatest TV series of all time.

In three words? Not...even...close!

I love the first season. Every attempt I've made to watch the show has stopped around midway through season 2. I just lose momentum.

A lot of people LOST (pun intended) interest during the 2nd season, me included. And I just don't remember season one being so riveting as some describe on here.

Lost (Season 1) was the first show I ever binge-watched on DVD. I think it all plays much better that way. It was darn near built for it.

I believe it was season 3 where I got lost. :)

I may give it another try just to make sure I wasn't wrong to give up on it. Like others have posted above, I was totally into it season 1 and most of season 2.
