LOST. Greatest TV Series Of All Time?

Featured Replies

For me, there has never been a TV show that had me hooked and emotionally attached to like lost did. Everything about the show (except maybe the ending) was absolutely perfect in my eyes. It's not only the only show that I've watched the whole series twice, I've watched all 6 seasons 4 times. It's been off for a while now, but just wondering what the opinions of LOST were on here and maybe bring back up some fond (or not so fond) memories of what I consider the greatest TV series of all time.

Absolutely loved the show.

I never got past the first couple of episodes...I may give a whirl again and see if I can stick with it this time.

Same. I didn't watch it when it was on TV and have tried to watch it a couple times afterwards.

The first season is very "survivor" like. They're just trying to survive. But it's essential to understand the rest of the seasons. If you get to the end of Season 1 I think you will really enjoy it.

I'll give it another try.

Wouldn't call it the best show I've ever seen, but it gets going as well as anything. The opening episodes of Lost are the most enthralled I've ever been by a TV show.

Never watched one minute of it, so I can't pass judgement.

Is it better than Gilligan's Island?

I love the first season. Every attempt I've made to watch the show has stopped around midway through season 2. I just lose momentum.

I absolutely love LOST. Definitely in my top 3 favorite TV series ever. I am with you @grantKY, I've watched it 3 times all the way through and I'm getting the itch to start it a fourth time. I never watched it when it was on TV, except for the final season.

The character development of that show is phenomenal.

OR M.A.S.H?

I love just going back and watching the finale of each season. The finales are so dramatic and suspense filled that when I watched them for the first time I would be on the edge of my seat like I am for a big sporting event with my favorite team involved. The writing was absolutely perfect.

There is a bit of a lull for a few episodes in the middle of season 2 and the middle of season 3, but if you can make it through that you'll enjoy it. Honestly I would recommend going up to the finale of season 3, which has arguably the most dramatic cliffhanger of any TV show ever.

Or Little House on the Prairie or Andy Griffith.

I'm waiting for The Walking Dead fans to chime in??
