February 9, 20179 yr I remember catching a replay of the first episode that re-aired on Saturday night the first week it aired. I was intrigued by the show, and it became one of Mrs. doomer's and I must-see shows. There were even web-site clues in some of the commercials during the show that I thought were ingenious. However, it was also clear in the last year or two that the writers lost control of where they were going. I remember telling Mrs. doomer, I hope they don't do one of those "they are all dead" things. As much as I liked the show, I think it should have ended in 3 or 4 seasons with its air of mystery still lingering.

Like others have posted above, I was totally into it season 1 and most of season 2. Like I said above, suffered massively from the writers' strike, which was during Season 3. It's like Friday Night Lights, which I love. Writers strike happened during season two and you can tell; it's terrible.

I talked to a lot of people who fell out of favor with it about the same time I did during season 2, and read something similar as well. If season 3 went downhill from there then I'm not sure how anyone could even think about putting it in the discussion of greatest tv shows.

February 9, 20179 yr I'm shocked we haven't seen Breaking Bad mentioned yet. It's ahead of Lost for me. I didn't make far with Lost to be fair. I do like Breaking Bad, but I prefer lost to it. Points of Breaking Bad moved really slow for me.

February 9, 20179 yr Lost (Season 1) was the first show I ever binge-watched on DVD. I think it all plays much better that way. It was darn near built for it. The cliffhanger at the end of each episode made it really difficult to not keep watching episode after episode.

That you are absolutely spot on about. LOST was ahead of its time in that aspect. It's such a great show to binge watch and honestly you get more out of it when you binge watch it.

February 9, 20179 yr The middle of season 3 is absolutely terrible, but then the finale of 3 and the entirety of seasons 4 and 5 were fantastic. 4 and 5 were my favorite seasons hands down. The first episode I ever watched was the season finale of Season 3. I just happened to have the TV on and nothing else was on. I then went back and binged season 1, 2, and 3 to catch up.
