January 26, 20179 yr I certainly don't want to spend what the estimates are on this wall. If Mexico hands us a blank check then by all means. But other than that I don't see throwing a dime at it as a good use of our money. Mexico ain't sending anything? And why would they anyways? It's our wall. I get that Trump said it on the campaign trail and he will work hard to make them pay for it but the notion that they should pay for our wall doesn't make sense to me.

January 26, 20179 yr If I'm Mexico I sure as hell ain't paying. Me. Either. Makes zero sense for them to pay for it. I guess we'll see what happens. Nothing surprises me anymore.
January 26, 20179 yr Mexican President vows to protect and support immigrants in America. Only upset we are sending the criminals and gang bangers back. I think the Mexican President needs to get his own country under control first. Mexican President '''Rejects''' Trump Orders, Vows to Protect Immigrants Inside U.S. - NBC News
January 26, 20179 yr It may slow them down but it will take more than a wall to stop them completely. I heard he is also increasing border patrol...
January 26, 20179 yr I heard he is also increasing border patrol... He'll need to undo that freeze he just put on government hiring. Much needed though.
January 26, 20179 yr "U.S. spent $35 billion on foreign economic aid last year. The $5.9 billion for military funding represents 17% of the roughly $35 billion the U.S. spent on foreign aid in 2014, according to the report.Nov 11, 2015" "Each year the United States gives approximately $8 billion in mandatory payments and voluntary contributions to the United Nations and its affiliated organizations. The biggest portion of this money – about $3 billion this year – goes to the U.N.'s regular and peacekeeping budgets.Jun 16, 2015" "On average, Planned Parenthood receives approximately $500 million a year in taxpayer funds" There you go, stop spending 43.5 billion dollars on other countries and terroists and we can more than build the wall. Curb the flow of drugs into the country and help pay for the agents on the border. You should be able to be onboard for that. Why do we have military if they can't guard our borders? Isn't that kind of what they are for, defense?
January 26, 20179 yr Did he ever say he would start it on day 1?He said on TV that the wall would be started on day on.They replayed it on the local news here.
January 26, 20179 yr By the time it goes up criminals will already have found a way around it. Seems like a huge waste of money when investment in border control and tech would be more feasible.
January 26, 20179 yr He'll need to undo that freeze he just put on government hiring. Much needed though. :lol2: :lol2: Guy doesn't have a CLUE.

Mexican President '''Rejects''' Trump Orders, Vows to Protect Immigrants Inside U.S. - NBC News From the article: (Mexican President) Peña Nieto said he "regrets and rejects" Trump's orders Wednesday because "Mexico does not believe in walls." Didn't I read that they actually have a wall on their Southern Border? Or is that one of those nonsense things I read on social media and believed?
January 26, 20179 yr He said on TV that the wall would be started on day on.They replayed it on the local news here. Sounds to me like the process is beginning. You're just mad because brick and mortar hasn't been laid yet?
January 26, 20179 yr Of course Mexico dont want a wall. They want to let all their people come here for freebies.
January 26, 20179 yr Of course Mexico dont want a wall. They want to let all their people come here for freebies. Not just that, but the Mexicans that send almost all of their money back to Mexico helps to stimulate their economy more. Of course they don't want the wall, Mexico would have a lot to lose, I'd think.
