Heard/saw the Crazies broke the bleachers, again. Time to make an emergency withdrawal from the NKU Bleacher fund to get those fixed before the next home game!

Didn't get to game last night (what was I thinking). Mark & Greg did great on CCH Iradio.

 

Sounded like Aiden was the man in 4th qtr wiping out the deficit (9 points & key defensive rebounds) with AJ sealing the deal.

 

Ruthsatz, Mayer, Lenihan, Walters, Kunkel have been in some unreal games with each for years now. Great class.

 

The injury talk is a moot point. Whenever these two current teams / coaches play its going to be a battle. Comes down to who steps up & makes that final key play.

Not discounting Dixie or any other 9th Region team but I hope the draw places these two teams in opposite brackets.

I was sitting on the same side as the crazies at a fair enough distance so that I could see the court, and at one point late in the game when they were jumping there was a sound that was louder than normal, then all of the sudden the entire bunch of guys shifted over on the bleachers closer to us than they had been most of the game, but I had no idea why. :idunno:

 

Now I know why...wow this might have me reconsider if I'll ever sit near them again. :scared:

Saw the picture of Walters foul on Kunkel. What a cheap shot!!! Should have been called a flagrant foul.

 

I am not sure I would call it a cheap shot, to me it looked more like a clumsy attempt at a hard foul. I saw a video, and pictures from multiple angles, definitely looks like it should have been called a flagrant foul.

A projected great game that not often lives up to the hype. This one did and felt like a state quaterfinal game. Let's leave it at that for a month.

Either way, it shows poor sportsmanship. An elbow to the head should warrant checking on your opponent after the play to simply say "my bad" or "you ok". The fact he just stood there while Adam was down seemed to reveal at minimal intent.

When you're nearly a full foot taller than everyone else around you, your elbows are easily just about on the same level as everyone else's head. It's a wonder that it doesn't happen more often.

The two boys (Kunkel / Walter) went to grade school together. I would imagine they consider each other friends. Does anyone really want to project the feelings in this kids head based on an initial reaction. Please!

Not sure what ax you have to grind about this kid, but the shots you continue to take at him are getting old IMO. Why does one feel the need to bash kids on here behind their anonymity - always amazes me.

 

I should add, I do not know Jake or his family personally, but follow Cov Cath so it has been easy to see the shots you have taken at the young man from just reading the posts.
