September 3, 20179 yr Went to Swampwater Grill with the family last night. Had the blackened swamp platter with mahi-mahi, sides were corn roasted cheese grits and jambalaya. Delicious! How close to/directions from New Richmond. Have to go there on Tuesday. Do they have a lunch menu?

September 4, 20179 yr Belterra Park brunch on Sunday morning and the Alexandria Fair dining hall for dinner. Brunch was excellent and too much to eat as usual. Have Big John at the omlette station conjure you up a concoction of goodies. Free if you spend any money there at all. TIP - if you do not have a players card, sign up for one, and you get a free buffet/brunch. Dinner at the Alexandria Fair provided by Siss's on Monmouth - Breaded Pork Tenderloin, two sides, multiple dessert selections, and a drink for $12. Just OK.

September 4, 20179 yr Author Stopped by the local KFC on the way home for a quick meal for the family. Guy that orders while I'm waiting for my to go order asks the order taker if he can substitute fish for chicken in the kids meal. It was funny, as she was like "we don't sell fish here." I was cracking up.

I've been in a different city at least part of the day in about 32 of 41 days. It's getting old. Now a few of those were at the lake or in Hilton Head.

October 1, 20178 yr Mamma's BBQ Hurstbourne Road. Burnt ends for me. Brisket for my avatar. Half a smoked chicken for my better half. Two sides each. Bread pudding with ice cream and bourbon sauce split 3 ways. 48 bucks plus tip. We took plenty home. I'll back. Love the smoked wings at Mommas.
