I loved Tommy Frazier and the BlackShirt defense, even though the Peter brothers were pieces of garbage. Then you look at '01 Miami and your 4 deep at HB is Portis, Davenport, McGahee, and Gore. Andre Johnson at WR, Vilma at MLB, Reed and Taylor at safeties....yikes. That is a debate that will never be answered.

January 6, 20179 yr Author So far I think the 2 front runners are 95 Nebraska for their pure dominance over teams and 01 Miami for their insane amount of talent all over the field. I still like that 04 USC team better though. They might not have dominated teams like Nebraska or had as much talent as Miami, but I think they still beat anyone, anywhere. Just my opinion. I know we talk about Nick Saban as the greatest college football coach of all time, but if Pete Carroll would have stayed in college and you know the whole Reggie Bush thing never happened, then I think we'd be talking about Pete with 5 of 6 championships.
