January 2, 20179 yr As mentioned above, we are hearing only the 14 year old's version, and choking does leave marks, so it should be easy to prove/disprove. I never hit my kids, but was spanked as a kid, so I don't see a big problem if all that was. I wonder what her story will be after a week in foster care. Article also said there were marks from strikes on the upper and lower body of a strong enough red that they were likely to leave bruising as she healed. Right or wrong, if domestic violence is accused someone generally gets arrested and the police let the courts sort it out.
January 2, 20179 yr I'm so thankful the Lord saw fit to keep me from being the father of a daughter. I have two Doc and wouldn't trade the experience for the world. I was incredibly blessed in that they were both WAY more easy to raise than I deserved.

Does your wife feel the same way? My husband and I have different memories of raising our daughter. Daddy's perfect baby girl went toe to toe with mama on a few occasions. Wouldn't trade it for the world though.
