FarBeyondDriven Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 Wow is all I can say. Debate Rages As University Stands By ‘Problem Of Whiteness’ Course
FarBeyondDriven Posted December 24, 2016 Author Posted December 24, 2016 Don't see a thing wrong with it. Of course you don't, since you usually sit by quietly, as your lodge buddies express their ignorance about other races. Equal opportunity enabler?

littleluck55 Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 My problem with whiteness is that I burn so darn easy in the sun.
LIPTON BASH Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 Don't see a thing wrong with it. No problem with a course that obviously promotes racial division and seperation ? But I also forgot that somehow in the last couple years apparently some on extreme left have decided it's impossible to be racist toward a white person and took it upon themselves to change definitions.
Jesse James Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 Don't see a thing wrong with it. Would you be ok with a course on "The Problem of Blackness"?
Fear the Nation Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 I refuse to feel guilty or harness any ill will towards another because of something none of us had a choice in or can do anything about. It's an absurd thought process. The fact that this course exists means the people who created it still see color first. That's on them. They need to deal with their repressed racism. You can't guilt away the past. None of us are responsible for the past. All we can do is keep it moving and act right. You can't get the past back, you can't predict the future, so don't screw up the present.
#99 Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 Would you be ok with a course on "The Problem of Blackness"? The black community and not just a few people would be in an uproar if that was a class. As should be the whites in this case. Better yet, every person should dislike anything that would promote more segregation and racism. And that happens way to much already.
Bengal Maniac Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 It's a university course. Nobody is making it you take it. If you don't like it don't take the class

bballfamily Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 Would you be ok with a course on "The Problem of Blackness"? What if you substituted one of the following: Muslim, Jew, female, gay, Hispanic or Asian? The PC crowd would go berserk. All these type of classes do is to foster division and is a waste of a student's money.
