Afraid? I have not gotten that, concerned and dislike, yes. What is wrong with that? I don't have to like him and I am concerned. Now, I will still wait and see if that plays out. I haven't lost one ounce of sleep over it and won't.

 

Our President is an egotistical buffoon, but he is our President. The office should and does carry respect to me. I am just gonna' wait until he begins to really show his true colors and watch those who support him on here blame Obama because he fails.

 

He is a man that seems to accept no blame. He blames everyone but himself. He has something Obama never had, total legislative partisanship.

 

The inner cities will flourish, immigration issues will go away, American workers will prosper, we'll have lower taxes. If he does this, I assure you I will be wrong and happy.Again, we will see.

 

Your statement that Obama never had legislative partisanship, you are not correct. In 2009, President Obama had a Democrat House and Senate. During that time was the passage of Obamacare. Democrats wrote it and Democrats passed it. And no one read it. Think Obama will take ownership of that boondoggle?

This is a response to your reply that you removed regarding me being the most insufferable person on the site and how you sometimes agree with me but I make it hard to because of my arrogance and that I should get over myself.

 

That's cool if you think so, but how does one diplomatically approach the undiplomatic? I haven't perfected the talent. I straightforwardly speak my mind with no aim to score points for being warm and fuzzy. I don't spit out my words and then later pretentiously shift gears to shamelessly try to save face just to turn around once more to be insufferable again.

 

Those that I'm referring to incessantly pound out the crap as hard as they might and when they don't know what to do with the opposition they fake claim the high ground, give lectures, and then immediately turn right back around to their same old tricks and weak tactics of illogical deflection and spin games.

 

If what I say makes others uncomfortable perhaps its often more times than not that they're blind sided and gobsmacked that someone has the gull to hit them scare in the noggin with dissension. How dare I feed their heads with unfamiliar terms?

 

What they love more than anything is in fact this game of argument and taunt with the hopes that they wear down their opponent to the point that they raise their hands and say "Y'know what, screw it I'm out of here!" so that they can laugh and feel that they've scored again.

 

They can't do that with me so they resort to the so called high ground while insinuating threats. To me it honestly comes across as pre-teen mentality. I doubt that I'm the only one who thinks so, but even if I am I see it plain as day.

 

If one has to constantly deflect and spin then what truth are they actually offering? None as for them it's always a game to be "right" rather than to gain any understanding, and then turn around and call me childish when I don't declare defeat.

 

To me it's an opportunity to speak my truth, to them it fulfills their need to compulsively engage in competitive speak to go for the score.

I already admitted that when JD brought it to my attention. I will aways believe the ACA was in it's intent and basic principles what is best for America, so I have no problem and he won't think it is a boondoggle at all. In fit I predict in two years this country will still wish we had it.

 

I truly hope, I don't know why people won't believe it when those that opposed DJT, that he is really successful I am not wishing or hoping he doesn't. Now if he does something I disagree with I will call him on it. No different than if anyone else was in the White House.

 

I am not like certain Senators that publicly stated they would do everything they could to see that the President wasn't re-elected.

Sorry about that repeat, I had not read far enough into the thread to pick that up. As for the ACA, I bought a small business plan for my business in 1998. It had low deductible, low max out-of-pocket, great coverage and a reasonable premium. All subscribers were older adults. Obamacare said it did not meet their policy requirements and cancelled it. That's why I called it a boondoggle, promised much but delivered little. Most people who bought it, could not afford to use it. The one we then bought, was higher premium, higher deductible, higher max out-of-pocket and not much on coverage plus a lot of items covered that we did not need. I am one of those people Harry Reid called a liar on the floor of the senate. And why in the world did McConnell say that? Dumb. I do not want the House and Senate wasting a year of opportunity to chase items best left to the Justice Dept. I, too, am one who hopes P.E. Trump has a successful presidency. It will be good for Americans and the world.

First of all, take nothing personally, even if they are attacking personally. I ignore then. If I feel someone is crossing that line, I move on and don't post again. If they want to engage without personal attacks, no problem, if not I stop as I said. They may think they have won (because some think that way winners/losers) so be it. Some posters are not trying to understand at all, just pounding home their beliefs. I probably do the same with mine at times, but I try to never get personal.

 

I believe most on there are likely good solid citizens, but just have had different experiences, values and beliefs. This is a social media site, not life.
