It's delusional to try and claim a belief and opinion, one that cannot be proven, as a fact.

 

Saying the Patriots won their game yesterday is a fact. It can be proven.

 

Saying one religion is correct and another is false, is a belief or opinion.

 

So too is your claim. It's your belief. It's my belief. It's the belief of the vast majority of people in this world if I had to guess. Unfortunately, it's not something that can be proven. As much as we may believe it, it's not a fact.

I really doubt that most of the people that voted for Trump did so because they were dissatisfied with the social direction of the country. The liberals are REALLY missing the point on this one. It was about two things which really boil into 1.....1) distrust of Hillary and liberal economics and what the country needs to improve economically and that they would send it further the wrong way; and 2) economics and what the country needs to improve economically. Throw everything else in a bucket, and it wouldn't have made a difference to all but a minority of "conservative" voters who voted for Trump....despite what the media may be telling you.

 

You might've missed how I was answering the question "What are you afraid of", and how the voices of resistance became seemingly acceptably louder and more visible with Trump's anointing. The question was asked and I did my best to explain the true and valid concerns of many.

You misunderstood my use of the word "logic" and the context I was using it in, and echoed exactly how I thought of it while making it out that it wasn't. Your intention to take issue with me distracted you from comprehending that with regards to the word in question, we agree.

I'm holding a small red ball in the palm of my closed hand that only I can see. You insist that my hand is empty when I know for certain that it is not. You claim that I am lying or say that if there is a ball in my hand that it's not red, but green. I say "No, I absolutely do have a ball in my hand and it in fact is red".

I'm completely fine with fairness. It's not fairness when one group aims to stop the freedoms and the pursuit of happiness of another because they disapprove of them. If those people are not hurting you then live and let live.

My gripe is not infringing on freedoms, but people who do. Continuing to paint me as someone who does that which I detest is all words with no substance.
