December 16, 20169 yr A red tricycle in 1957 or '58. My parents bought me one and one for my twin sister. I rode the heck out of it. Sometimes I'd lay it down sideways and use the front wheel like a steering wheel and one of the pedals as a column gear shift and pretend I was driving a car. I think I drove it to Texas once.

December 16, 20169 yr When I was 5 I got a Curious George stuffed animal with a banana that you stuck in his mouth (which I still have), and a cool outfit with dark blue bell bottom pants and white shirt with matching dark blue polka dots including matching dark blue neck band that was fastened with a gold metal ring. When I was 6 I got a Barrel of Monkeys and a noisy machine gun. I only wanted the gun because my friend had one, but in truth I thought that running around shooting a gun was stupid. He'd also set up army men and played fake war games which I tried to enjoy, but down deep thought that was stupid as well. I didn't understand then that I was just a true pacifist while all the other boys loved to blow stuff up. Also got some refill goop for our Creepy Crawler machine. When I was 7 I got the Trouble bubble pop game, and also a cool Milton Bradley plastic tube and marble race game where you tried to swiftly get all the marbles from the top of the plastic tube to the bottom by shaking the tube with the marbles passing through many levels through holes. Also got a spin art paint thing where you sprayed paint on the card while it would spin around making groovy art. When I was 8 all I wanted was The Partridge Family's Greatest Hits Album. Also got Monopoly board game. When I was 9 I was obsessed with wanting Milton Bradley's Pivot Pool game. It never was nearly as much fun as the commercial w/ Lucile Ball made it out to be. Also, my older brother gave to me a nice gold aluminum baseball bat. My parents gave to me a left-handed Rawlings baseball glove, and a basketball. When I was 10 my cool brother-in-law gave me Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Pretty much changed my life. Also got a full sized football. When I was 11 my older sister gave to me Crosby & Nash's - Wind on the Water - and Linda Ronstadt's - Prisoner in Disguise (Truth is she loved these albums, but I instantly fell in love with them too, and still think that they are great albums). She then began to listen keenly to what I was asking for... So when I was 12 she gave to me ELO's - A New World Record When I was 13 she gave to me Heart's - Little Queen When I was 14 my parents gave to me my first stereo w/headphones. It was a turntable, AM-FM radio, and 8-Track player/recorder with stereo speakers. I was in heaven. Those headphones were the best sounding that I ever had that I used forever, but ultimately they ended up getting a short in them where the coiled cord attached to the headphones. When I was 15 she gave me Foreigner's - Head Games When I was 16 my older brother gave to me Judas Priest's - British Steel, and Yes - Drama - Great albums!
December 16, 20169 yr Same. BigWheel. Not even a close second. I power braked the plastic wheels off that motherscratcher. I had the competitor version of the big wheel...was longer and the front wheel wasn't as big...I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head but I loved it as a kid.
