Allegations of Battery Against Morehead State Coach

I really like Sean Woods, but I was not surprised by this nor would I be surprised if more comes out.

Why was this not surprising? I know nothing about him, does he have a history of this type of behavior?

I read the headline and thought someone had battered the coach. Duh

He is super intense, a huge competitor and pushes his players hard. I can't remember the year (roughly 4-5 years) ago he pushed one of his players during a game and received a 1 game suspension. It drew intense media scrutiny.

Like into walls hard? Seems to be his downfall.

Sorry, poor phrasing on my part. Pushes players to their maximums in all aspects of their basketball careers.

Watched a lot of college games at NKU over the years. He was the only coach that seemed to be on a whole different level when it came to yelling at his players. When you're like that in front of everyone, sort of makes you wonder what they are like behind closed doors.

Hundreds of coaches across the county push their players hard without being violent.

He backhanded one player in the chest and shoved another. Would like to see a video to get a better idea of how abusive he was to these two or are they just wimps?

The backhand was during a game and Im sure it was seen. I would like to see how hard it was.

Don't care how hard it was, as a coach, you should never strike a player, nor shove them.
