Hey FBALL, it was good to finally meet you tonight. I always wondered who you were. I had 5-6 different possibilities for who you could be. It was good to finally find out. RUN RUSSELL RUN:devil:

I thought my secret Identity had already been revealed.

What did you think about that facemask infraction in the first quarter. I thought it warrented and ejection. Its hard to believe Kasey kept running even after the helmet was pulled off.

Congrats to Russell on a nice win toward their chase for another state title.

Oh man!!! You talk about a bad facemask penalty. Man, I've officiated varsity ball for 12 years now and I've never seen one THAT bad. I've seen them pretty bad but that was definitely the worst. I thought it might have hurt his neck, I'm sure it will be sore tomorrow. The officials were right on top of it, penalizing Boyd with a personal foul.

Congratulations to Ivan and the Devils! There's obviously still things that need to be fine tuned as we enter district play, however, this game saw some kids step in and step up to the challenge. The fumble "scoop and run" seems to be an integral part of our defense; way to go Tyler! Ivan certainly deserved the recognition for his leadership and loyalty over the years. It was all nicely done. That facemask was vicious!

Congratulations to Russell on the "pay back" win.

I hope that coach Evans gets enough time to turn things around in the county.

Where is the Blue Blazer??? He must be out celebrating passing the Praxis Test, I want to know why I wasn't invited?? I passed too!

Congratulations !!

Congrats to Russell, it looks like its gonna be another good year for Ivan.

What is there to turn around? BC is a young team with alot of talent.:thumb:

I don't think they are talking about turning this year's team around as much as they are talking about turning a program around. Boyd Co has been inconsistent over the last few season's and I agree with the others that believe Coach Evans can take this team back to being a consistent contender for a district title and a playoff team.

Your right there, all that passing had to go! Hopefully Evans will just get in there and line em all up. Even some of the parents need it!

You guys must really not have watched them play last season. Just because they are in shotgun four wide, they only would throw the ball like 12-15 times a game. Ask their stat guy, I did last night. He even thinks its funny that you get on here and say things like that. Plus Red Blood you make fun of Boyd running a three man front on D, well so does Russell, they run a 3-4 D. And they won a state title last season. It does not matter what you run of O or D, its all about the players.

First of all, welcome to the site.

Second of all, dont get on here comparing Russell's defense to Boyd's. In the past few years we have had the same talent as they have and could not get it done. Personally I think our Defense stinks.(Hey, I appreciate you paying attention to my past posts though. But when the County starts playing some real D and stops some teams, then talk to me)

Now on another note I might not sound like it, but I am extremely supportive of this new staff and hope it works out. I really wish everyone would not act the way they do at games, very uncalled for. They need to let this Staff grow as a Staff and let the young men grow as F-Ball players:thumb:

I am not getting in this discussioin on Boyd's coaching, don't have a dog in the fight. I just wanted to comment on this one statement, A former Raceland football coach (L. Heck) used to say "it's not about the X's and O's - it's about the Jimmy's and Joe's" ;) . Just another way of saying the same thing.
