November 27, 20169 yr Was at the game. It was a home game for Tennessee. Our defense gave up way too many big plays, but some of the catches the the Vandy teicievers were coming down with were amazing.

November 27, 20169 yr The SEC has run into parity from top to bottom minus Bama. When the bottom of the league improves it makes the entire league look bad because everyone beats each other. When a league has 3-4 really good teams it makes the league look good even though the teams at the bottom are terrible. Look at the current Big 10. They're now being regarded as the best conference in the FBS because Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin and Penn State are doing really well but then you have Rutgers, Purdue and Illinois really struggling. I'm not saying the SEC is still the best conference but I am saying if you matched up 1v1 2v2 3v3 all the way down to 14v14 between the BIG 10 and the SEC the wins and losses would be fairly even.

Dude...look at the majority of the losses in the SEC, they were to each other. The SEC may not be as strong as the past few years, but it's far from a dumpster fire. I don't see how UT losing to another conference school makes the league worse. If osu had lost to IU, would that have been an indictment on the b1g?

Conferences are judged by how good the teams at the top are. Also go back and look at the beginning of the year and how many OOC losses the SEC has. Also teams at the top of the conference losing to teams on the bottom does not equal parity, it simply means the teams on top aren't as we thought they were. The SEC East was a dumpster fire this year and anybody who doesn't see that is absolutely blind.

Then how do bad teams become good? I noted that conferences are judged by how good their teams at the top are. How can Vandy and Kentucky become good teams? By your logic its not by beating teams like Tennessee. If Vandy beat Bama and LSU and went say 11-1 are they still a bad team?
