November 30, 20169 yr The obvious difference in opinions here is that some think a recount isn't accepting the results and others don't share that sentiment. I understood in 2000 when Al Gore wanted a recount in Florida. He had a chance of winning. Jill Stein has ZERO chance of winning. Makes no sense. Hillary joined in. I call that not accepting the results.
November 30, 20169 yr I do. I saw somewhere that Jill Stein has raised more money with this recount than she did in her campaign. She gets more name recognition and raises a lot of money. Which is the main reason that this recount is such a farce. If Hillary were requesting it, no problem.
November 30, 20169 yr Sure I was. Let's see, protests in the streets in 2016, 2008- Nope. College kids asking to be exempt from tests due to "trauma" of Obama winning- Nope. High school kids protesting and not going to class because Obama won- Nope. You were saying....................... Requesting recounts Planning a challenge to the electoral college in court We people on the right upset , sure. But the left has turned into chicken little during this election.
November 30, 20169 yr Which is the main reason that this recount is such a farce. If Hillary were requesting it, no problem. Again this either comes from Hillary's camp or a major supporter. This is a calculated move. This isn't a Jill Stein publicity tour. If anything she has lost credibility.

I'm not going to go down this road with you because it is beyond pointless, but if you're implying that people didn't make this big of a deal about Obama being elected (minus the school kids who aren't even old enough to vote, so how can you even lump them in?), I can't help you.

You need to help yourself. There were no protests in the streets. Fact. No college kids needing counseling. Fact People didn't like Obama being elected. Sure. They did not act like the Left has following this election. That's simply a fact. Maybe you you need to take a stroll down reality road.

They did not act like the Left has following this election. That's simply a fact. Maybe you you need to take a stroll down reality road. We agree on the protests. I have no problem with people protesting the results, but I wouldn't do it myself. Maybe I just don't feel that strongly about the results. You have zero way of knowing about college kids needing counseling, pure speculation. So not a proven fact. And even now I'm sure that is being overblown by the "liberal media." You all assume that EVERYONE that is displeased with the result is a Democrat. Again, absolutely no way for you to know that. Again, if you think people didn't show their rears over Obama, we will have to agree to disagree. There may not have been protests, but that's not the only way to embarrass (if that's how you see it) yourself or act out in defiance.
November 30, 20169 yr Yes, anyone who claims they will not accept the results of the election is wrong. During the debate when questioned, he never said that he would not accept the results of the election. That's just what many implied from his statement.
November 30, 20169 yr @TheDeuce, where in that article that you posted does it say that he wouldn't accept the results if he lost? I just saw that he said he would accept them, if he won.

November 30, 20169 yr He says it in the video. Oh okay. I don't usually watch the videos because the bosses don't like us streaming things at work. If they knew how much time I spent on here, that would probably be bad too.
December 1, 20169 yr Author When Obama won I never once read or heard of college kids fearing for themselves or having coloring books and play dough to deal with the stress. If they had I'm sure the liberal tv networks would have made a mockery of them.

It's totally fair to say those opposed to Obama acted out their panic in a different way by emptying all firearms sellers of their stock. Some even went so far as to start up militia organizations. Some of those organizations went so far as to be organized around a principle of racial separation and/or racial superiority.

A little bit of reach ....maybe.... a little bit.
