Side note: Cincy X beat Sycamore in OT.

Not many people on BGP gave Fern Creek a chance. A nice result for Louisville football.

That's not a slight.

1. 99% of the posters have never watched FC.

2. Not many FC posters to tell the 99% how good FC is.

OK........

Congratulations to Fern Creek on winning and to Cov Cath on an impressive season. I think the Colonels are in a good position and will only get better.

Great season Colonels!

Really impressed with How CovCath fought back at the end after the FC punt return TD! A sluggish start proved too much to overcome but you fought and earned a shot late and on the road that's all you can ask for. Great season Colonels. You have some great pieces to build on for next year. Love QB AJ Majer!

Congrats to Fern Creek and my friend @Pete W who is Mr Fern Creek on BGP. Fern Creek has very good athletes and Hawkins reminds me a lot of the Kinslow KDEP from last year. They will be a very tough opponent next week for the Purples!

Thanks, our kids were pumped for this. Although they don't post on here several read it and were in disbelief at the poll here. Then they were really upset with Jason Frakes pick, not only having us lose but giving up 34 points. We have only allowed 30 or more points twice under Coach Abell in 3 seasons, this year in a win over Southern on a weird Thursday game were we played badly, and the other was in 2014 vs PRP the week of the shooting when we only practiced once that week.

It was a great game and I was worried at the end, Cov Cath played well and it was a good clean game without many penalties with both teams paying it all out there.

Kyree has been a beast all year on offense and the last 2 weeks he has went from playing less than half the defensive and has become the same beast on defense he was last year, leading in tackles last 2 games

Seems like Frakes came within about 5 yards of being right on the amount of points CCH would score.

Congratulations, @Pete W! Please pass on the word that there will be a lot of folks in Park Hills pulling for you from here on out. Your kids played tough, and oh my goodness are they fast. Here's hoping they can grind it out against Bowling Green next week and get a little revenge for last season!

It is tough to be in a better position.
