Ryle 49 Cooper 20

Ryle varsity offense runs 6 plays in the second half and scores 3 touchdowns.

Lots of work to get done, we got Scott county next week.

Up and down season for Cooper. Good luck to all the seniors.

End of a great career tonight, Dante Hendrix played his last game as a Jag. Can't wait to see him at the next level. Absolutely one of my favorites.

Has Hendrix signed anywhere yet?

Turnovers and a big missed opportunity at the end of the first half by Cooper were the key in this one. Ryle did a good job capitalizing on them and making the plays.

Congrats to Ryle and good luck. Congrats to all the seniors at Cooper. You all did a great job in helping to continue the building of the Cooper program into one of the best ones in nky.

Indiana State

That's right, I couldn't remember, good for him.

Congrats to the Raiders, a nice team effort. Huge kudos to QB Tanner Morgan who joined the exclusive 10,000 yard - 100 TD passing fraternity. Outstanding young man and leader! Go Raiders!

I projected Ryle by 21. So this score doesn't surprise me too much. They had a much better all around team than Cooper.

I went to this game, my first ever visit to Ryle. Nice place to watch a game and met some great folks. Thought going in Ryle was the better team and it showed. I was very impressed with Ryle linebacker Colin Demetrakis. He was all over the field making plays. Ryle is very good but I think they'll need a better performance to win at Scott County next week.

Despite the careless penalties by the Ryle players and coaches, Ryle showed why the are the best NKY team this year. A little surprised that Cooper's QB didn't get flagged when he kicked a Ryle DL in the knee but officials sometimes miss those calls.

I was impressed with Morgan's running last night. He wasn't looking for a place to slide. He was looking for the goal line.

Chisholm was impressive, again. I like that he turns the ball up field as soon as the opportunity presents itself. His ability to find a seam and turn it into big yards makes him a very effective runner.

His last long TD run was impressive in the way he used his blockers. If he had just run as fast as he could he would have been tackled but using great vision, he assessed the field on the run and weaved through the traffic to set up his blockers between himself and any would-be tacklers. That was smart running and as a result he waltzed into the end zone.

I have been spoiled as my son has played with Chiz since 7th grade. He is the has the combination of speed and power. Hits holes at full speed, makes cuts at full speed. Can't arm tackle him, very very strong. This is why he is one of the top RBs in the state. @oldgrappler mentioned his vision. I won't repeat what he said above, but it also helps him avoid tackles which will keep him healthy. He also knows how to get tackled well. He will twist his body landing forward, always landing forward so he gets tackled. This will also keep him healthy. Just an absolute joy to watch. Morgan kid is not to shabby himself, right?
