I'd never heard of such until, unfortunately the wife and I were watching the news this morning before work. Did anyone know this day even existed???

Oh well I'm on the hook to cook dinner tonight.

So how is this different than the other 90% of days throughout the year?

It's called dining out.

Mrs. TAC used to work late on Thursdays so I did the cooking. Boys always game me crap because it was either something she had in the crock pot or one of my half dozen go to dishes.

Exactly.

Exactly.

And I don't complain about it at all. I enjoy cooking for the most part. Plus we have an unwritten agreement that if I cook, she does the dishes while I take the dog out. Works for me.

Some of us have to cook every night.

I think this is a prime example of a story women like to tell when we all really know the truth. :lol2: Men do most of the cooking, and we are exponentially better at it. It's just science.

For convenience the crockpot does the majority of our cooking. But when company comes over and for special occasions it's all me. Girlfriend will usually make a dessert if we have it but I cover the rest.

I am wondering if there is a wife mows the grass and weed eats day, cleans out the gutters day, tills the garden day, change the car oil day, seals the concrete day or paints the fence day. I typically cook several nights per week, however tonight I will take a knee in peaceful protest.

Well I cook some for the Family, BUT today is Buy 1 get 1 Free at Subway so I can make it happen!

Also Penn Station. Today is also Sandwich Day.

I didn't know, and the missus doesn't read BGP. I think I'm safe.

I typically cook on weekends, but when she heard this I was instantly inserted into that role for this evening.

The sheriff is spot on.
