Final.

Wow.

Woo-hoo!

Congrats Bracken.. 3 way tie..

Congratulations to the Polar Bears and fans. How exactly does this work again for them, Nicholas, and Brossart in playoff seeding?

This has to go down as one of the biggest victories in the history of Bracken County sports. The boys basketball state tournament appearances, I believe in the late 40's,early 50's as well as the All A state tournament appearances in the 90's for the boys and more recently for the girls, Coach Charles 3 victory and district championship over the mighty Mason County Royals in baseball a couple of years back and the recent first time accomplishments of the cross country program are things that come to mind. But this one has a good argument as THE biggest victory and hopefully a turning of the corner for all the programs to get over that hump and win the big one's against the Mason's and Brossart's. Congrats to Coach Sizemore and staff and those forgotten ones who coached these boys from pee wee to elementary to middle. Any successful program is only as good as its feeder system and volunteers. Big night cornfed boys, you got this

You take the win totals of your 4 best opponents. Highest number gets the 1 seed and so on. Should come down between Bracken and Nicholas. If I figured correctly, which I doubt, Nicholas would have a 2 point lead after tonight.

Brossart is a definite 3 seed due to their weak schedule.

Just going by what some posters were telling me on a thread a couple of weeks ago,

don't know if points even plays into things. The winner of this game was winner of district and #1 seed and will play a #4 at home. #2 Nicholas plays a #3 also at their home. Bracken may play Paris at home. Please correct or clarify if this is wrong

If Bracken is #1, they will get a bye in the 1st round and will get the winner of Raceland vs Brossart. If they are #2, they get Fairview in the 1st round.

Paintsville gets Paris in the first round

Sorry, but LCDAWGS19 post is correct. No conclusive results without a lot of math and possible results of next weeks opponents each of the three tied teams have defeated.

Congrats to Polar Bears. Very impressive, especially considering where these players and coaches have risen from in only two years.

Still a lot of math to do to determine #1 seed and they still have games to play next week that may impact who gets what.

Just live in the moment for this week and cherish the huge win over a good NC team. I'm so proud of our boys and coaches. By far the biggest win in our football history and ranks right up there in all sports victories.

So much for all the ppl that said this would be a two touchdown game I believe one poster said it would be a running clock?!! Nicholas is a great team no doubt but Bracken is also a great team this season that may not get the respect they deserve. Also NC wins over BB was at home and they had a huge advantage being at home. The Paris game was their toughest road challenge of the season thus far

Good luck to NC going forward! Their are still some tough games ahead.

As for The BC crew. Great job and good luck in the playoffs and next week at Ludlow.

Huge win for Bracken County and definitely an upset in my opinion. Time to dust off the tiebreaker calculator.

Don't post a lot but had to chime in, what a play from bracken to go for the 2pt conversion Really put it all on the line there. Appleman*? Sounded like a beast tonight anyone have any game stats.
