I get what your saying but dealing with kids where parents just dont care about anything in their kids life, i wish more cared like hers does.

If the Martin family did not move, then the KHSAA basically has told everyone you can move from school to school as you please. Just make sure you don't say to anyone you moved because of athletics and come up with a good reason why you need to change schools - anything traumatic or psychologically difficult should do it.

Highlands did nothing wrong and followed theirs and the state process to a tee.

It's time to just Open it all up. ...if a school district will let you attend their school whether you live out of district or not, kids are allowed to play sports.

 

That's not a "sour grapes" opinion either. We've just gotten to the point where if you try hard enough and have the means (brains, money etc) you can go and play wherever you want. Just open it up and save everyone with headaches.

The problem starts when you don't have the means and someone else pays for you.

No reason to really argue about it anymore.....they throw a dart at the approved/rejected board. If it hits rejected, they appeal and throw again and usually hits approved one of the 2 occasions. Very seldom is rejected the answer that is stood by. So just open it up and let them go wherever they want......that would have sounded prophetic a few years back......now it is just stating the reality!!!

I don't know why anyone even pays attention to this transfer when Cordia has 9 transfers on one team.

 

I mean I have nothing at all against Cordia but we're talking about 9 transfers on one team.

 

If that's the case, just open it up and let high schools build super teams.
