I know Cov Cath lost to Ryle, but they may be best team in NKY. They are rolling and may win State. They beat a really good Ohio team in Sycamore and are just rolling teams. They have good skill players, and a really good line. If not this year then next year they will be the team to beat in my opinion.

What is the deal with the HHS linebacker (#17) wearing the bright gold shoes?? If you are on a historically bad defense, not sure why you would want to wear shoes that stand out...

No, coaching only does so much. The players are a bigger factor than many think.

No doubt a very good coach. And coaching is a lot easier when you have 3 D1 level talents on the field.

Congrats to CCH on making it a Rivalry again! Best CCH team I have seen in a decade so it was no fluke!

 

Was pumped to hear about the possible changes on Defense tonight for the Birds..... then nothing, no change! Just unreal.

 

The problem for HHS was their jerseys. The H-I-G-H-L-A-N-D-S on the jerseys was so small CCH didn't realize it was Highlands they were playing. :lol2:

Kudos to the Highlands players, played their hearts out. Hope for a quick recovery for all the injured players on both teams.

Highlands always had and still does really have a good overall team. But no Hodge, Lorenzen etc this year.

The QB position was NOT the weakness of this team.

Not beating up Gosney he had some great throws. I don't mean specific QB just few "no doubt" D1 athletes.

Actually, yes, I am going to question a kid for wearing ridiculous looking cleats that reek of a "look at me" attitude in a team sport. Now I don't know the kid at all and he may be the best team player on the team...but it LOOKS bad. I will also question his coach EVEN MORE for letting him wear those cleats. Not a good look at all IMO. Oh, and by the way, my life is just fine...

And the overall team size has to be lower than normal.
