October 28, 20169 yr I guess that excuses his racist remarks also... I'm not excusing racist remarks by Joe , Trump, Jimmy the Greek, Al Campanis, Jesse Jackson, Strom Thurmond, me , you, probably all of the Founding Fathers, or any other of the millions of Americans who have lived in this country. As I've honestly stated many times on here, we are all racist to some degree. All of us. And, yes, remarks, do slip out at times. Racist remarks are stupid, no doubt about it, but if Joe Biden's an idiot then he has a lot of company. I guess we just disagree on the Vice-President. He seems to be a pretty smart guy and a pretty decent character. I certainly don't see him as an idiot; an imperfect man, maybe, but not an idiot. You're gonna vote for the Trumpster; I'm gonna vote for Hillary. Some can't understand why in the world we would vote for either one of them. People just see the world differently. Nothing wrong with that.

Nothing wrong with that. I may vote for Trump I may not, I didn't in the spring. But in Kentucky it won't matter. You are correct in that we just don't agree on Biden. He's probably a good guy, I have no doubt about that...there is zero chance he is as corrupt as either of the Clintons...he has said things and done things I don't agree with. Therefore I would be hard pressed to support him.

October 29, 20169 yr There are more than a few that could have defeated Clinton, Trump was a dream come true for her...well that and Biden not running. I will always wonder what Biden was threatened with/blackmailed by/or paid off with, that got him to sit this election out. Biden, whom I think is an idiot, would have beaten Clinton easily in the primaries and in likelihood would have won this November. He basically handed her this shot at the office. She was given this nomination in 2008. No secret.
October 29, 20169 yr Public gaff after public gaff and making as many racist comments as he has over the years...just doesn't strike me as a very smart person. At least he's likable.
October 29, 20169 yr At least he's likable. True...saw where you are headed today. Enjoy and have a great time...that flight stinks though.
October 29, 20169 yr True...saw where you are headed today. Enjoy and have a great time...that flight stinks though. Yeah...not looking forward to 9.5 hrs flying. But...it's for work and all....
October 29, 20169 yr Author Yeah...not looking forward to 9.5 hrs flying. But...it's for work and all.... Small price to pay.
October 29, 20169 yr Yeah...not looking forward to 9.5 hrs flying. But...it's for work and all.... My work trips were to exotic locations like Tulsa, Birmingham, Houston and Kansas City...:lol2: Enjoy your trip.
October 30, 20169 yr 538 and SurveyMonkey did a poll of white voters to determine which variables were key determinants for the candidate they support. It is NOT income. The two key variables/factors were education and religion. Those that attended mass/church service less than weekly were overwhelmingly on the HRC side and those that had a high school degree or less were overwhelmingly on the Trump side. Next was region. NE was HRC. South was Trump. Gender was next. Age Income
October 31, 20169 yr My guess is...and it's just a guess, that he is smarter than anyone on this board by a pretty large degree. Granted, he, like many politicians, has put his foot in his mouth quite a few times over forty plus years. Lots of smart people have done that. We could name a bunch of smart people who have said some pretty dumb things. Newt Gingrich is a smart dude and makes some pretty dumb remarks at times. There are millions of other examples. We often call people idiots, not because they are, but because we don't like them. I'll take Habib over him a million out of a million times. And I like my chances against Biden too. That said, I would have considered voting D if he were the option.

October 31, 20169 yr Four cities where great BBQ can be found. Such a torture. Only got to enjoy local eateries in Houston and KC...ate authentic Mexican in Houston and at some hole in the wall but crazy good steak place in KC. Rest of the time we were herded like sheep...baaa baaa :lol2:
