DT and Rudy G are already planting seeds for when they lose. "Rigged elections" is going to be the mantra now through election day.

Horrible. Horrible when Bernie did it and horrible with Trump. That is an attack on our nation and totally irresponsible. Trump's ego will not allow him to make an apology or accept defeat.

Bernie was absolutely right. The fix was in. Debbie Wasserman Shultz was pushed onto her own sword, but rigging Hillary Clinton's nomination was a team effort.

Let's not forget, it was found to somewhat true with Bernie.

The Democratic establishment wastes no time revising history following major scandals. Bernie's body is not even cold yet. :lol2:

fellas, Donald has managed to start his own sex scandal in the last month of the election and is driving half the population away from him with every speech.

The "rig" won't even be needed.

There was no need to rig the nomination process in Hillary's favor. She was running against an elderly socialist who had virtually no accomplishments to his credit.

The only advantages Bernie enjoyed over Hillary was that he was far and away the most honest and least corrupt candidate in that two candidate field. Yet, the nomination process was rigged in Hillary's favor. The Clintons have never been motivated to lie and cheat out of necessity.

Did they choose not to use this rig in 2008?

I follow a lot of news I have not seen anything that confirmed voter fraud from the HRC campaign in the primary.

Did you happen to catch the news that Debbie Wasserman Shultz resigned her position as the Chairperson of the Democratic National Committee after Wikileaks released emails detailing bias in its treatment of Bernie Sanders? It was in all of the papers. More recently, Shultz's replacement, Donna Brazille, sent an advance copy of a debate question to Hillary's campaign.

Rigging a process does not always result in the desired outcome, but the character flaws that lead to an attempt to steal an election are the same, whether that attempt is successful or not.

I guess we got two different definitions of rigging. Voter fraud and illegal activities is rigging in my book. A political party favoring one candidate over the other doesn't qualify as rigging for me.

Republicans probably should have "rigged" their primary some, and they wouldn't be in the mess they are now.

Bernie and Donald are similar in that neither were party members prior to this campaign. Both were outliers borrowing the name of the respective party to compete in this election. Dems chose not to sit back let Bernie run away with the wagon they hitched their horse to while we know what the GOP did and it may lead to the end of the party.

Even Democrats acknowledged that the DNC did not treat Bernie Sanders fairly. The proof of that fact is that Debbie Wasserman Shultz lost her job over the scandal. Those were Democrats booing Shultz at a press conference that followed her resignation, not Republicans. Super delegates were Hillary's insurance policy and ALMOST everybody knows it.

Here are the latest, most damaging things in the DNC’s leaked emails - The Washington Post

Horrifying things in those emails. :jump:

Bernie supporters were riled up. Mostly because he had lost and there was really nothing else they could do. He ran a great campaign that motivated some younger voters that had never been involved in politics.

The same super delegates that she lost in 2008.

It takes a real scandal to drive a DNC chairperson from her seat. There is really no way to sugar coat that fact, is there?
