October 26, 20169 yr To a "Deluxe Apartment, in the skyyyyyy . . ."? :lol2: I thought of Mr Jefferson as well.
October 28, 20169 yr 82.1 Clinton 17.9 Trump Getting nervous yet Hillary supporters? Trump keeps climbing. :lol2:
October 28, 20169 yr I predicted immediately after the last debate that the race would get much tighter. I am thinking it is less than a 5 point win for Hillary, a big drop in two weeks from the 9 or 10 points some polls were showing. A good number of Trump voters are going to get in the voting booth and check his name and never tell a soul they voted for him. They aren't telling any pollsters they are voting for him either. If Hillary tries to play it safe the race could get even tighter than 5 points.
October 28, 20169 yr Author I think that the popular vote will be in the 4-point range. Electoral votes are another story.
October 28, 20169 yr I think that the popular vote will be in the 4-point range. Electoral votes are another story. It is a shame that California, easily the most screwed up and out of touch state in our country, gets 55 electoral votes. They can't even get their own state right.

October 28, 20169 yr 82.1 Clinton 17.9 Trump Getting nervous yet Hillary supporters? Trump keeps climbing. :lol2: He has no path in the EC. Win all battlegrounds and he's still six electoral votes short. There simply isn't another state to get him over.
October 28, 20169 yr He has no path in the EC. Win all battlegrounds and he's still six electoral votes short. There simply isn't another state to get him over. Yeah, it is a very narrow path. If Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania or Ohio goes in the HRC column, go to bed it's over. She currently leads in at least two of them depending on which polls you follow.

She currently leads in at least two of them depending on which polls you follow. It's very clear that Mr Trump has been in his own worst enemy. This was a very winnable election for the GOP. Paul Ryan would have been the best person to head the GOP ticket, imo. With Ryan at the top of the ticket, Hillary would have had a tough time winning the WH.

There are more than a few that could have defeated Clinton, Trump was a dream come true for her...well that and Biden not running. I will always wonder what Biden was threatened with/blackmailed by/or paid off with, that got him to sit this election out. Biden, whom I think is an idiot, would have beaten Clinton easily in the primaries and in likelihood would have won this November. He basically handed her this shot at the office.

I agree with you about Joe. I wish he would have run. I would have preferred him, Bernie, or Liz over Hillary. Biden would have given HRC a tough go. Just curious, why do you think he's an idiot? I think he's a pretty smart, very capable leader.

Public gaff after public gaff and making as many racist comments as he has over the years...just doesn't strike me as a very smart person.
October 28, 20169 yr Public gaff after public gaff and making as many racist comments as he has over the years...just doesn't strike me as a very smart person. My guess is...and it's just a guess, that he is smarter than anyone on this board by a pretty large degree. Granted, he, like many politicians, has put his foot in his mouth quite a few times over forty plus years. Lots of smart people have done that. We could name a bunch of smart people who have said some pretty dumb things. Newt Gingrich is a smart dude and makes some pretty dumb remarks at times. There are millions of other examples. We often call people idiots, not because they are, but because we don't like them.
