Will the Cubbies go down in flames yet again? You know their fans are getting really, really worried right now.

Giants in even years are hard to kill...ask the Reds!

I think they take game 5 and roll through the rest of the playoffs. Just needed this scare to get em going.

Huh.

As Mel Allen would say, "How-ahhh-BOUT that?!?!"

Any real Cub fan was worried even after being up 2-0 in the series.

To be fair, I added a pair of reallys to demonstrate a heightened sense of worry. :D

To me, we did not matchup well with the Giants. Glad the series is over with.

Before this year I would have rooted for the Cubs without hesitation to win the World Series. I'd like to see them win it for people like @00Rocket28, @The Scribe, and friends I have that are life long Cubs fans. After attending 2 Reds series against the Cubs this year at GABP I'm torn though. Some of the fans I encountered were some of the most obnoxious and arrogant fans I've ever experienced. And the Cubs haven't won a thing in their lifetime.

I hope the Cubs win it all.

I hope the Cubs win it all.

If I remember correctly the line from Tom Verducci's article in SI, the "Cubs are as chalk as chalk can get." At least he thinks so anyway.

Exactly! Life as a Cubs fan is you never get your hopes up for anything! But man did they pull one out last night, incredible comeback!

I'm a Reds fan. But I've already told my wife I'm waking my son up if it looks they'll win the series.

I remember sitting in our family room watching the Red Sox finally win one, myself three brothers and my dad. They swept the Cards and my mom said "that's it? Big deal". Was kinda melodramatic.

But since they haven't even made the series since 1945, I'm cheering on the cubs.

Go cubs, this is our year!
