Just some random Sunday night up in Sacramento a prolific scoring type like a Kobe will get into a groove and nail about 12 three pointers, be perfect from the FT line, and his teammates will keep feeding him the ball.

It's the career records that are next to impossible to break. I honestly don't think any of these career records will fall.

Cal Ripken Jr. – 2,632 Consecutive Games Played - Gehrig 502 behind him, then next is 1305 behind him Nolan Ryan – 5,714 Strike Outs - Almost 1000 ahead of the next closest. 3000 ahead of the closest active player. Nolan Ryan – 7 No-Hitters - Closest is 4. Only 5 people have thrown more than 2. To me the only career ones that anyone has a shot at. And it's a long shot. Is Stockton and Rose. John Stockton – NBA career assists and steals - Chris Paul would need 13 more years at his current assist average. He's played 11 season. At his current average Paul could tie him in 9 seasons for steals. Pete Rose – 4,256 Career Hits - Had Ichiro played in the MLB his whole career, he would have broken it. Miguel Cabrera has 2519 and is 33. He would need 9 more seasons at his career pace.

And he can probably walk down the street and not be bothered by many folks. Heck, when he was on the dream team, he and his wife walked around Olympic Village and hardly anyone knew who he was...
